De Mores School's science teacher and soccer coach
Phil moved to Medora two years ago following an acrimonious divorce with his wife in Dickinson, about 20 miles east. He agreed to coach the boys’ soccer team to make a bit more money to earn back what he lost in the alimony a little faster. In addition, he greatly enjoys being a mentor to his players, and encourages them to excel in both athletics and academics. “Don’t forget to work your brain muscles, too,” he often says. Phil lives alone with his dog Isaac, one of the few things he kept after the divorce.
